Ok so here is an “Update” to my Trip to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.
After waiting for about 30 minutes to 45 minutes in the waiting room after getting yet ANOTHER! XRay oh my goodness I had seen the doctor/specialist about my ankle and to see what the case was in regards to what needed to happen and what was going on with my ankle.
Basically the Doctor had told me I have a Benign Tumor in my Talus (Which is how your ankle pivots and turns etc) which is well a really bad place because if I put too much pressure on it or any for that fact may break it and cause a load more trouble to the point of not having 80% to 100% (my guess) use of my ankle as it is a critical park of your foot so from today onwards (GRRRR AARRGGHH) I have to use the crutches all the time and no allowed to put any pressure on it at all which well for me is like having to foot cut off because I work with mainly IT equipment which means at times lifting heavy things so that is pretty much out of the question.
This really does put a real dampening effect on my work well the work that I do have which is very little which I guess is best because well I could literally do more damage on my ankle which would not be good at all but it really irritates me because I need all the extra money I can muster up for fuel etc so you can guess my frustrations right now.
Ok so now here is the really big part the most annoying part for me because it limits me very very much to what I do and that is Fixing Computers, Fixing Lights etc etc and so with the some what small business I’m trying to get up and going is that I won’t be able to do a thing because of this operation.
After this operation I will most likely be a in a cast for up to 3 or 4 months and then followed by another 3 to 4 months in a moon boot so yea my maneuverability is going to be very limited for some months which means not being able to get my jobs done and even have any work outside what I do at Church and so it really sucks.
At least in a sense it is being fixed but I do not like that I have to be on crutches for months and not being able to get some extra money in to pay for bills etc it stinks.
