So I’m not I’m waiting for the “Specialist” once more appointment at 9:30 so now 24 minutes waiting which is really no surprise at all when it comes down to seeing a specialist or even ya Local GP seriously this is ridiculous if you cannot set a time and stick to it what’s the point of setting it if you are waiting for half an hour or well in this case 3 HOURS!!! Specialists Galor
Ok so here is what happened and yea given I haven’t posted in ages but you get that lol..
Back in 2009 I was hit by a Taxi while crossing the crossing and so after about two and a half months my ankle really started to hurt and then almost completely collapsed while walking home after a long probably 2 hours running around Surfers Paradise doing an Amazing Race game for Bible College which was both fun and EWWW (Sheeps brain) but it was fun. Oscars New Home
As you may know by now lol I have an Oscar Fish whom of which has grown large too big for his smaller tank.
I have since got him a new home/tank which is 3 foot long and he seems to love one corner but then again he is sulking and not use to his new surroundings just yet. Continue reading
Feeding The Oscar
I decided on getting some yummy treats for my Oscar (feeder fish) and so I got him some Gold Fish small ones for him to enjoy chomping on and the first time it took like almost 10 minutes for him to eat the first one the first time around.
My girlfriend got some more for him to chomp onto and gave him one it took almost 10 minutes of recording just for get him in action to take only a split second for him to eat it.
Here is a video you’ll see what I mean he plays with it for a while and then SNAP! gone in a split second lol.

He is one quick Oscar when hungry he looks at me and swims frantically at me like to say FEED ME!
He has grown heaps since I got him last year and now ready for a bigger home just need to raise the money now.
Fractured Ankle
Back in 2009 while I was doing Red Frogs I was heading over to the bus stop to head in with my team and some of the Schoolies we looked after to head into Surfers Paradise and while on the Zebra Crossing a Taxi decided to take off while I was on the crossing and hit me in my left leg. After the initial shock I was all good just a little shaken up.
Come to find just over a year after the Taxi had hit me I have a fracture that wasn’t picked up the first time around after getting an X-Ray the 2nd X-Ray picked up a lot more how I don’t see how the doctor didn’t see all this before.
After the 2nd X-Ray was taken a lot more damage was found then a CT Scan was done (Cat Scan) and it then revealed there was a fracture and a bone cyst which is a hole in the bone.
Seeing the fracture specialist about my ankle it seems like it was a little worse off then normal so now I am currently wearing a Temp Cast which is a Velcro Cast that I can take off to have a shower which is a big plus.
What the specialist had found was a Bone Cyst which is a Hole in the Bone which can over the years appear this happens to everyone and so what may have happened is when the taxi hit me it’s fractured and the bone has degraded over time so now I have to wear a Cast and be on Crutches and cannot put pressure on my ankle unless in the shower and that is it.
I have an appointment with the Gold Coast Hospital MRI Department on Saturday to find out what the cause of this pain is so yea not looking forward to it but it needs to be done.
Below is a picture of the cast that I have to wear it stops my ankle from pivoting however still not allowed to put pressure on it.
