OK so I have been catching up on all the things/stuff about the iPhone 4.
Some have been reporting reception issues with there iPhone 4 going from Full/4 Bars Service down to nothing but strangely enough they are still able to make calls.
So now it comes all down to these few things
1. Is it the Antenna on the outside?
2. Is it a simple software bug that needs ironing out?
3. Is it a bad design mainly the Antenna on the outside?
4. Is it the Telco at fault?
It’s a really hard one to tell mainly because the iPhone 4 hasn’t hit Australia yet but we will see what happens when it hits the Australian shores to see if it happens in Australia as well.
There are some YouTube videos of people having these issues and you can view them below.
The other question would be could it just be a bad batch going around since it is in the early stages of being released lets hope so I don’t think there would be too many happy customers out there unable to use there iPhone 4 to the way they would like with some of these issues that have been popping up however as I said could just be a bad patch or even maybe reception issues in there location.
Now there is something that might fix this issue until the bug has been ironed out and that is a iPhone 4 bumper (rubber case) for the phone and see what happens.
Take a look at the iPhone 4 case here
According to a Danish Professor who’s an expert in Antenna’s says the antenna’s on the outside of phone can cause a lot of issues. You can read the article by going here.
